Program & curriculum
Do I need prior logistics experience?
No. MFBA begins with freight roles, terminology, workflow, and the brokerage business model before moving into advanced operations.
What is included in the course?
The academy includes 17 modules, 148 lessons, quizzes, workbooks, downloads, eight specialty tracks, a capstone simulation, Freight Mentor access, a final exam, and certificate eligibility.
How long does it take?
The program is self-paced. Completion time varies by schedule, experience, and the amount of practice a student chooses to complete.
Can I learn on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Public pages and the student platform use responsive layouts for modern phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. A larger screen is recommended for worksheets and simulations.
Authority & careers
Does MFBA provide freight broker authority?
No. Authority is issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. MFBA explains the process, but applications, fees, bonds, insurance, and filings are separate.
Is MFBA certification a government license?
No. It is a private certificate of course completion that documents successful completion of academy requirements.
Does the course guarantee a job, customers, or income?
No. Outcomes depend on experience, effort, market conditions, sales ability, compliance, capital, business decisions, and many other factors.
Can I start a brokerage immediately after graduating?
Training is only one part of readiness. An owner must separately establish a business, obtain required authority and filings, secure a bond and appropriate insurance, fund operations, and comply with applicable law.

How do students access the academy?
After purchase, use the email address associated with checkout and the access instructions sent to that address.
What is Freight Mentor?
Freight Mentor is an academy support area designed to explain concepts, surface common mistakes, and direct students to relevant lessons and resources.
How is progress tracked?
The student platform records completed lessons, passed quizzes, track progress, final assessment status, and certificate eligibility in the browser.
What score is required for certification?
Students must satisfy required lesson and quiz criteria and score at least 80% on the final exam.

What are the payment options?
Pay $497 once or choose three payments of $197, totaling $591.
Is checkout secure?
Payment is completed through Stripe Checkout. MFBA does not collect or store full card details on this website.
What is the refund policy?
Refund requests must meet the specific eligibility and timing rules in the published Refund Policy.
Can I share my login?
No. Access is licensed to the individual purchaser and may not be shared, resold, or redistributed.
